- Preparation and presentation on sessions of the Sejmik (local assembly) of the Silesian Voivodship current statistical data concerning different aspects of the socio-economic situation of the voivodship adapted to the theme of the session.
- Preparation for the Marshal of the Śląskie Voivodship of a publication "Śląskie Voivodship in the interwar period 1921 – 1938" basing on the "Concise Statistical Yearbook 1938" CSO.
- Newsletter of the SO (monthly) containing information on new publications, statistical news and events relevant to official statistics.
- Cooperation with the Silesian Library in the field of incorporation of publications of the SO to its digital resources.
- Actions in the field of statistical education.
