Scope of Activities
The Statistical Office in Kielce is responsible for the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship in the following areas:
maintaining the official REGON and TERYT registers;
conducting population censuses and large-scale statistical surveys;
disseminating and publishing official statistical information;
promoting statistics and increasing public awareness and understanding of official statistics;
cooperating with central government authorities and local government authorities.
The Office also specializes in carrying out nationwide tasks on behalf of the official statistics system in the following areas:
Non-observed economy, including:
for registered business entities, estimating revenues, remuneration, wages and salaries, gross output, intermediate consumption, and gross value added;
illegal activities and estimating their scale;
Trade and services statistics, including:
domestic trade;
catering services;
international trade in services;
assessment of enterprises providing business support services;
demand for services.
