General information
Statistical Office in Katowice as a unit of public statistics services is subordinated to the Central Statistical Office and functions on the basis of:
- Law dated 29 June 1995 on Public Statistics (Journal of Laws from 2022, item 459 with later amendments),
- Directive No. 1 of the President of the Central Statistical Office dated 18 June 2012 on the granting of the statute to the Statistical Office in Katowice (CSO Official Journal, item 28 with later amendments),
- Law dated 1 November 2008 on Civil Service (Journal of Laws from 2008 No. 227, item 1505 with later amendments),
- Organization Statute of the Office introduced by the instruction No. 8 of the Director of the SO in Katowice dated 28 March 2013.
